WHEN: GIFT CARD DONATIONS - MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH thru MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD

ASSISTANCE: SUBMIT YOUR NAME VIA EMAIL BETWEEN OCTOBER 6TH AND OCTOBER 20TH.  RECIPIENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF SUPPORT ON OCTOBER 27TH.

WHO: 40 FAMILIES CAN SIGN UP FOR SUPPORT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

For seven years now, we have been hosting the Bad Magic Giving Tree. This is a project so near and dear to Lynze’s heart. She has been on both sides of a holiday giving tree. She personally appreciates what it meant to her family the year their gifts came from a community resource. Now as someone facilitating the giving, She is reminded of what an honor and privilege it is to give back. 

If you are seeking support this holiday season, please read closely, as our process is changing. 

We evaluated the system of years past. We heard a lot of feedback about how incredibly stressful the previous system was. No one needs that.  

Everyone who would like their children to be considered needs to email ONLY YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME to givingtree2025@badmagicproductions.com. 

NOTHING MORE. 

We will enter all of the names into a random generator, aka put all the names in a hat, and allow the names to be chosen at random. Everyone will receive an email, regardless of their outcome. 

Submit your name between October 6th and October 20th. No names will be accepted after October 20th. 

On October 27th, everyone will be notified. Those whose names picked from the hat will be given next steps. 

As in years past, Bad Magic Productions will be applying the December monthly donation to the giving tree and thus will be giving this money right back to our own community. As in years past, Dan and Lynze are asking and encouraging the community to donate Amazon gift cards to the cause. For ease, all of the shopping happens this way. 

For every dollar donated to the cause, Dan and Lynze will personally match it, up to $13K. If you have $5 or $10 bucks or more that you’d be willing to donate, do it! Every last bit adds up! Alone we can do so little but together we are deeply powerful. Last year, the fans sent an additional $17K! It was WILD!!!
