With over 1,000 families putting their names in the hat, we proceed forward with heavy hearts that we cannot take care of everyone while remaining grateful that we are able to help 40. Our Bad Magic community is such a unique place and we are honored to support our fellow humans.

For seven years now, we have been hosting the Bad Magic Giving Tree. This is a project so near and dear to Lynze’s heart. She has been on both sides of a holiday giving tree. She personally appreciates what it meant to her family the year their gifts came from a community resource. Now as someone facilitating the giving, She is reminded of what an honor and privilege it is to give back.

As in years past, Bad Magic Productions will be applying the December monthly donation to the giving tree and thus will be giving this money right back to our own community. As in years past, Dan and Lynze are asking and encouraging the community to donate Amazon gift cards to the cause. For ease, all of the shopping happens this way.

For every dollar donated to the cause, Dan and Lynze will personally match it, up to $13K. If you have $5 or $10 bucks or more that you’d be willing to donate, do it! Every last bit adds up! Alone we can do so little but together we are deeply powerful. Last year, the fans sent an additional $17K! It was WILD!!!
